Home

It's in the countryside, in a hamlet called « Les Martins », where I'll be welcoming you to « La Vie La ». It's the name I've given to my home, which I wanted to be warm and authentic.
I've put my passion into it, including working with raw wood to give it a shape or a purpose. It's here that I'd like to share a little moment of life with you, if you wish.
Jasmine runs along the drystone walls, exhaling a sweet fragrance that heralds a fine summer.
Two large cedars and numerous Florence cypresses dominate the house. A field of olive and pine trees spreads out before your eyes. Plants shaped like globes and wooden sculptures punctuate the garden.
A well-tended but natural garden, respectful of the environment and the seasons.

My story

I started out as an actor at the « Theatre National de Bordeaux » for 3 years, and after an artistic career spanning some ten years, I realized that listening was essential to communicating easily.
Then I decided to train as a masseur, with Charles Bréger, a graduate of Wat Pho in Bangkok recognized by the Thai Ministry of Health. I combined these two activities (acting and massage) to bring my own originality to the massage tradition.
Through meeting all these people, some of whom have seen me on stage, others who have experienced my massages, I came to want to spend a few days with them.

La Suite

So I created a unique, private 60 m2 space, dedicated to your comfort and serenity, since I only receive two persons at a time.
I've named it « La Suite », your suite, and finally it's a bit like the continuation of my story. Here again, I want to give priority to listening, quality, welcome and confidentiality, without neglecting your independence.
« La Suite » includes a comfortable living room, a dressing room with a safe, a bedroom featuring a king-size bed ( 180x200 ) with a thick memory foam mattress, a spacious walk-in shower ( 220X100 ), and a separate toilet.
Your suite is equipped with silent air-conditioning and high speed WiFi.
Towels, bathrobes and bed linen are provided, as well as high-quality toiletries and a hairdryer.
There's also a mini-bar with fresh drinks. Tea, herbal tea, coffee and still mineral water are offered.

The pool

You'll have direct access to the swimming pool, all lined in black mosaic, a heated pool that's also entirely reserved for you.
You'll be able to enjoy different areas of shade and rest around the pool, depending on how far the sun advances until it sets. An open wooden hut and large stretched canvas canopies house sofas, daybeds and soft couches from which you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Luberon, and enjoy your breakfast prepared by us with fresh, local and seasonal products.
All this is just for you... because at « La Vie La », you'll delight in the charm of discreet luxury.

Wellness

It will also be my pleasure to introduce you to my massage skills.
Because « La Suite » is all about relaxation, rest and well-being. The right balance between mind, body and emotions.
Massaging means generously understanding the person you're massaging, and anticipating their expectations.
« Where there's a hand, there's a heart »
The variations I offer are performed on a futon on the floor. My main aim is to help you recharge your batteries and regain awareness of your body in a calm and respectful environment.
The ideal solution for total happiness from head to toe.
A synthesis of Shiatsu, Indian massage and yoga, this complete massage is performed in a spirit of mutual trust, combining relaxing manipulations and restorative pressure along the energy lines that run through the body. It relieves muscular tension and helps eliminate toxins, and promotes lymphatic and vascular drainage. Each session concludes with a relaxing facial and scalp treatment, using selected essential oils.
Wellness offer: For any reservation of 5 nights or more, made only from our website, a one-hour full body massage per person is offered.

The situation

« La Suite » is located 6 kilometers from the historic center of Gordes. Voted the most beautiful village in the world in 2022, its magic comes from its vertiginous cliffside location.
We are also very close to other picturesque villages:
Menerbes, planted on its rocky outcrop, once a refuge for Picasso and Dora Mar, renowned for its wines and Truffle Museum.
Bonnieux, with its 12th-century church blending Romanesque and Gothic styles, surrounded by century-old cedar trees, enjoys an exceptional panorama stretching from the Petit Luberon to Mont Ventoux and the Vaucluse mountains.
Lacoste was home to the Marquis de Sade, whose castle is the setting for a wonderful festival and where Pierre Cardin left his cultural mark.
Oppede le Vieux, a veritable medieval gem, a place of peace and serenity.
Roussillon et Rustrel are famous for their ochre soils, proudly known as the Provençal Colorado, a colorful palette of yellows and rusts.
Goult, a more discreet, less touristy town known for its 18th-century mill, and Joucas with its Gallo-Roman remains, mill and ancient washhouse.
Architectural nuggets where you can stroll, dine or simply enjoy a drink. Enjoy this wonderful Luberon in the heart of luminous Provence , scented with lavender, with accents of Pagnol, and immortalized by Cezanne.

Activities

It's a region rich in festivals, cultural and sporting activities, where music, theater and exhibitions are the order of the day.
You can rent bicycles and explore the many cycle paths, organize a first flight in a hot-air balloon, enjoy canoeing at Fontaine de Vaucluse, stroll through the Provencal markets and take home many souvenirs. Or why not take a horseback ride along the Durance River. And don't forget the countless garage sales, flea markets and antique fairs, particularly at Isle-sur-la-Sorgue , where you can enjoy the freshness of the canals.
If you wish, I'll help you organize your stay, so that you can plan your time between relaxation and excursions, according to your mood and your desires.
